Local mental health and addiction agency which provides a variety of services including addiction counseling for youth and adults, mental health case management, peer support, court support, counseling for problem gambling/behavioral change, supportive housing, community withdrawal management and more. The agency's goal is to provide quality services and easier access for those impacted by mental health and/or addiction issues in communities across Huron and Perth counties. Strong Connections Group - a 10 week group available to youth 12 - 18 years of age.  Topics include:

• Recognizing characteristics of healthy and unhealthy relationships
• Working on developing mutual respect, boundaries and trust
• Improving communication skills

In-person sessions starting fall of 2025 in Listowel.  Virtual 1:1 counselling sessions offered by the CMHA crossing bridges team with 1:1 support and debrief after group sessions.  Registration is required - yct@cmhahuronperth.com, 1-888-261-9350, Ext 560.  This program is being run in collaboration with the Huron Perth Children's Aid Society.
