COVID19 - Service Change - Friendly Visiting / Telephone Reassurance services delivered by telephone visit and check in.

Provides companionship through regularly scheduled visits and/or regular contact daily phone calls to those who live alone. The volunteer and client are matched based on common interests. Calls may be arranged for health & safety, date & day reminders, friendly conversation.

Lifeline - an easy-to-use personal 24 hour emergency response service is also available for a set fee

Hours Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
Services: as arranged.
Lifeline: Mon-Sun 24 hours
Areas Served Huron County ; Perth County
Eligibility Any seniors or adults with disabilities who live independently in the community are eligible to receive calls.
Application Self referral or through the Home and Community Care Support Services South West.
Languages English
Fees No fees for Friendly Visiting or Telephone Reassurance. Fees vary for Lifeline
