Museum dedicated to preserving local history, including the childhood home of Victoria Cross recipient William Avery "Billy" Bishop.

The museum:

  • preserves the legacy of Air Marshall W.A. Bishop

  • honours local veterans for their service by telling their stories

  • educates current and future generations about Canada's experience during the conflicts of the past

  • maintains and presents the collection on site and in a digital format

  • captures the essence of the Victorian and Edwardian Eras

Service Details

Hours Summer (Jun-Aug): Mon-Sat 11 am-4 pm
Winter (Sep-May): Mon-Fri 12 noon-4 pm
Areas Served Bruce County ; Grey County
Eligibility No restrictions
Application Walk in or email or call for information.
Languages English
Fees Program - $5 for anyone 12 years and older, children 11 years and under admitted free with adult admission.
